Fenke Schwan und Alex Gabriel studierten beide an der Kunsthochschule in Arnheim (NL). Sie entdeckten nicht nur ihre Liebe füreinander, sondern auch für Accessoires und Mode - die Gestaltung und Arbeit mit Stoffen und Materialien, die Suche nach dem Besonderen. Die Produkte sollen tragbar und modisch sein – eine Mischung aus Streetwear und High Fashion.
Im März 2006 gründeten die Produktdesigner ihr Label Gabriel & Schwan.
Die zweite und aktuelle Kollektion von Gabriel & Schwan umfasst Taschen in verschiedenen Größen und Variationen, sowie Schals und ein Tuch. Alle Teile werden von Hand im Siebdruckverfahren bedruckt.
Fenke Schwan and Alex Gabriel studied at the Academy of Arts in Arnhem, Netherlands. There they discovered not only their love for each other, but also for accessories and fashion: the design and feel of materials and fabrics, the search for something special. Products should be easy to wear and fashionable – a mixture of street-wear and high-fashion.
In
March 2006 the two designers founded their label Gabriel &
Schwan.
The second and current collection of Gabriel & Schwan consists of bags of various sizes and shapes, as well as different scarves. All pieces are screen-printed by hand.
